I was thinking about picking up the book, I saw the movie a couple of months ago, and I really liked it. The book is always better.
I'll be coming down to Portland as soon as the weather improves. It's way more fun on the bike when it's nice out. I'll come down for a weekend in the spring most likely.

Salmon. Hmmm, the key really is not so much how you cook it or what you cook with it, it is not over cooking it. Leave the middle a little raw. It's OK to do, just make sure your salmon is from a good place. Personally I don't like cooked salmon. Strictly smoked, sushi, or grave lox for me!
