well...

after two weeks of daily panic attacks i've finally broken down and started taking my meds again.

I'm going up to philly this weekend, coming back to balto for 2 days(!) then going back up to penn. to spend thanksgiving with my grandparents and my oh-so racist cousins ... yay.

cousin #1: yah ... i've read a lot about this, and its wrong for races to intermarriage. They shouldn't mix, we were meant to be kept separate. Its unethical.
half-chinese me: oh yeah? I'm sure you've really done a lot of research.
cousin #1: [hateful look]
cousin #2: hey look [laughing]! There's a bunch of black people doing an African dance! I should make them happy and bring them some fried chicken!
[a high school girls step competition is on the news]
cousin #1: I bet they're all physics majors ... hahahahaha
cousin #2: hahahahaha
me: have you taken physics guys?
cousins: 'garbled excuses'
me: that's what i thought
cousins: fuck you, smart ass.

thus ends the exact conversation I had with these people last time I saw them (incidently last thanksgiving)
