I've watched blade runner three times in roughly 24 hours. I've never had to write a paper on a film before, so I'm trying to take it for all its worth.
Everyone is back in the apartment today. It was strange and nice to have extreme privacy for a couple days. For some reason my most comfortable moments are those spent completely alone reading a book. Which is even stranger considering how infrequently I read for pleasure.
The moments I feel the loneliest are the ones where I'm surrounded by people. Man, humanity is SO cool! ... all this suffering, alienation, and irrationality, its like someone wanted us to be unhappy ...
I'm desperately looking for new cool music ... I've downloaded some bettie serveert, which is pop-new wave stuff which is coolish, but I'm looking for something a little more abrasive. Maybe I can find another Radiohead clone or something ...
