what a day.

still haven't seen harry potter yet, but i watched the girls so thad and jess could go see it together. it's important for them married folk to do stuff together. so anyway, sam and i played with her little ponies, then polly pocket. i fixed us some lunch, which afterward, reilly woke up. this is where is got rough...

i opened that door and had to step back. the girl let off some sort of noxious chemical warfare in the room, and after regaining my composure, i discovered the source of the infestation: the diaper. i thought "oh, at least sam is here to help take care of this kinda situation." we opened that diaper up and it looked like satan's own peanut butter supply, straight from the gourmet kitchens of hell. it was so bad, sam refused to do it. so, i had to man up and be the godfather i needed to be. i changed my first ever diaper today. it was not pleasant. but as far as i know, there were no casualties. that's the start of a good track record, i suppose.

once thad and jess got back, we went and got some good old fashioned barbecue at jim neely's interstate bbq. mmmmmmmmmmm...i love the sampler platter. i still have ribs leftover for later. hot stuff! woohoo!

hitting the road tomorrow for a few weeks in arkansas, then i hit the road for some much needed time in south carolina. then back to memphis to finish packing and move to charlotte, nc. drop me a line if you wanna get together. have your people call my people. let's get together, yeah yeah, yeah.
