ok. so yesterday as i left the comic shop, this attractive young lady asked if i knew where a park was. i told her that i am still fairly new to the area, so i had no idea. as she walked away, i felt sorry for her, due to the nasty heat and lack of cooling breeze.
i met back up with her down the street and asked if i could help her find a park. she made me promise not to kill her, which i happily obliged. truth be told, i'm somewhat of a wuss.
anyway, as we drove around, we discussed that both of us are only in memphis for the summer, essentially, and she has a few kids back in washington state, and so on and so forth. we drove around for a while, searching for a park that was seemingly non-existent. but lo and behold, my amazing driving prowress finally discovered a park where she could read and enjoy the sunshine.
as she was leaving, she gave me her number, and said she would like to go down to beale st sometime to hang out. here's my problem:
i am horrible when it comes to women. i don't know how to talk. when should i call her? should i not even call her since we are both leaving soon? i haven't been on a date in over a year, and before that, i don't even recall. i just don't date much, i suppose...
what do i do? she seems really nice, and i have been extremely lonely here, having only my coworkers as friends. i just don't want to feel like i am starting something only to end it a month later.
any help or advice would be MUCH appreciated...
