well, things are looking up! i found a place to stay in rock hill for school this fall. all i need now is a job up there and more financial aid for school itself. but hey, one step at a time.
but this week was awkward. i work on a project team for best buy currently, and i pretty much just travel and remodel stores. well, this week, i was in jackson, tn, and i got a chance to catch up with some old friends. very dear friends. my old mentor, his wife, and their two daughters. well, the awkward part is, back in college, i was really close with loren, the older daughter, and asked her father for his permission to court his daughter for marriage. he gave his blessing, and when i talked to her, she said no. we remained friends, but to see her now, married, with two kids...
