I left for several and when I returned my roommate was missing and we suddenly have a tv with an attached dvd player. I am left puzzeling as to what situation causes a roommate to disappear and a television to take his place.

Finally got a picture up, still might see if I can do better this Tanksgiving. Maybe a month after that was taken I lopped all, but an inch of hair which is really the obvious thing to do going into winter.

I just got an e-mail with a couple of pictures of myself so I may very well put up a profile picture. The only thing stopping me is I don't like pictures of myself, maybe that means I'm ugly, in any case I have to find out how to upload pictures.

On an unrelated note there was a fire drill in my mechanical engineering building...

Having just finished reading Craig Clevenger's new book Dermaphoria, I can say that he is my new favorite author. His first book, A Contortionist's Handbook, was one of the best books I have ever read and was the best work of modern fiction I've read.

I can't really say whether or not Dermaphoria is better than his first book, I'll have to read it again...

On a side note I love Sundays, its seems that Salt Lake City folk don't leave their houses on Sunday so it seems like I have the whole city to myself. Also with Utahns being the worst bunch of drivers I have ever seen it means that the odds of me being taken out by a car is greatly decreased.

Today I finally did what I've meant to do since I first got hear over a year ago, and that was to actually explore the city.

Fall break is finally here, a brief two days compared to my friends' full week off. Its a fantastic change of pace from my usual schedule, I might be able to finish water proofing my homemade fish tank and get the supports on it.

Put a gun to my head and paint the walls with my brains.

I'm beginning to think that I may have to make some new friends in this state. My current friends are more than a little difficult to connect with.

A brief introduction
I'm going to college in Salt Lake City which is something less than I had expected it to be (the city, not the school). Right now I'm taking 17 credit hours and if you ever get the opportunity to take 17 credit hours, don't. Its brought my social life to a complete halt.
