I finally got my 91/30, and it's in awesome condition and 3 matching serial numbers. I can't wait to take it to the range. I also bought my son a .270 bolt action to replace his Marlin 30-30 lever action. I'll post pics when I can.
well, i've been home for a few days now. all i've been doing at Ft Lewis is inprocessing. being in med hold is boring as hell! once i'm done inprocessing i don't know what i'm going to do all day. i'll probably just stay out of sight, out of mind, i dunno......

No it's not a jungle carbine and yeah .308 would have been better, but those are rare and pricey. Mine shoots well and .303 is good enough for deer and elk so I'm happy.
