WOO-HOO! I just got a Harley today! paid $4000 for it, it's a 1980 XLH 1000 (Sportster). it's bad ass, too! has fat bob tanks, bobbed fender, twisted spoke rims, new paint, tires, clutch, and a bunch of other stuff. the bike itself was worth the 4 grand easy, and the guy gave me about 800-1000 dollars worth of leathers, too...... and about 300 dollars worht of parts, tools and manuals. i kinda' felt bad paying so little for it all...... and kinda' felt bad because the guy selling it said he was "trying to erase some memories." i didn't ask, i figured if he didn't want to remember it he wouldn't want to talk about it. he did seem happy to be selling to a war vet who promised to take good care of the bike, though. i'm posting some photos of it in my pics.
