Founded in 1994, the Michigan Militia is a paramilitary group that seeks to protect against perceived encroachments by the Federal Government on the rights of citizens. The group received much attention during its early years, and still exists today as a nonviolent collection of local chapters spread throughout the state.
But in addition to protecting freedoms, the Michigan Militia is also focusing on defending the public against the coming Zombie Pandemic. Senior Militia Member, Weapon M, recently provided ZRS with this insight:
We are certainly prepared to handle a zombie infestation. One of our training exercises consists of zombie targets scaled to various sizes, and is designed to sharpen our zombie eradication skills. We are also launching a regular Zombie Qualification Test at our upcoming training.
No matter what your politics, the Michigan Militias efforts act as an important reminder that when the undead come knocking, were all in it together.
