Moody French Puppets:


Above is a still from a video exhibit by Pierre Huyghe currently at the Portland Art Museum. I checked it out recently, and got to see about twenty minutes of this weird filmed puppet show before the museum closed for the night. It was simultaneously soothing and disturbing, lots of time-lapse creeping vines and tortured, existential-looking puppets with stubbly facial hair. And one of the puppets was wearing old skool Pumas. It was all very pretentious and amusing!

I am preparing to take my GREs the day after Thanksgiving. Can any of you grad school students or grad school grads give me some hot tips on cracking the GRE?? I am studying my Princeton Review guide and taking online sample tests...and I can't fucking wait for it all to be over with!
