I got the job! I'm officially an English teacher!
I sat down to wait for my interview next to this other guy. I was wearing a white shirt and a tie, black slacks. This guy was wearing a polo shirt. I had my professional portfolio with me (a binder of surprising girth), he had a few text books. I was early, he was late. I thought... if this is my competition, I think I've got it! Of course, I'm sure he wasn't the only applicant, but still.. yay!
What a summer! Engagement, passing Praxis, getting a job... and a new Transformers line! Life doesn't get much better than this!
