So I saw Ginger Snaps 2. I have to say, I was skeptical. I mean, I loved the first. Really loved it, and though I was interested to see what a continuing story would be like, I had considered the story told. The first still stands on it's own as a great horror/dark comedy/tragedy.

The second was, in fact, quite good. I was surprised. The hole left vacant by Ginger's character is filled, though in quite a different way, by Ghost (who is really incredible both in design and excecution). I don't want to get too much into the plot. The ending of the movie seems to be what people want to talk about. In the hopes of not giving anything away, I'll say this. It wasn't what I wanted. My first reaction to it was quite negative because of this. However, upon later consideration, the first did not end as I would have wished, and so the movies have evoked similar feelings in me. I can't get this one out of my head, the same way I couldn't get the first one out of my cranium for days afterwords. If you like the first one, see the second, it's worth it. Just remember that the writers of these movies seem to hate their characters.

Good review! I think I'll get out and rent them both for the fun of it!
