So, I work retail now. Circuit City. I stand for eight hours a day, and my feet, legs, and back really hurt. At my old job, at First USA, I just sat. I do a lot of work at Circuit City... I'm never still for long. Always work to do. I used to take two hour breaks at First USA, and no one noticed. I once went to see a movie, in the theatre, on the clock, and no one noticed. I got top performer that month. At Circuit City, I make $8 an hour, before taxes. At First USA, I made around $13. So, the higher up the 'vocational food chain' one is, the less one works, and the more one gets paid. At least, in my case. I suppose the eventual culmination of this chain would be like Patrick Bateman's job in American Psycho. Get paid gobs of money to sit in an office, put one's feet up, look at porn, and listen to KC and the Sunshine band. Weird, isn't it?

Work...It'll be the death of me. I am employed by a large wireless company. You know, the one with the blue globe. Not such a bad gig...I like it sometimes. Just trying to stick it out for a few more years. Hopefully I will be transfering out to California next summer...and from there, who knows? Can't believe Christmas is almost here...where did this year go? Feels wasted somehow.
