So my friend of nine years terminated our frienship this week. I'm not quite sure why, but I think it's because he doesn't approve of my relationship... and doesn't like my girlfriend. Something about her not being good for me.
This is the girl with whom I've been with for 2.5 years. This is the girl I've never had a fight with. This is the girl that is there for me, no matter what. This is the girl who encourages me to hang in there while working a full time, manual labor job and taking three masters level courses. This is the only person who consistently tells me she's proud of me. This is the girl who listens to me talk about toys and video games, and often spends more at comic book shops than I do. This is the girl who has her own place, her own car, and paid her own way through college. This is the girl I want to marry, and love more than anything in the world.
Needless to say, I'm a little confused. And a bit pissed off.
