OK so you make an appearance and then disappear again? explanation needed...

Ha Ha...I'm just laughing because all of my clothes have a scent on them....not the fresh from the dryer smell either...let me explain. I have a tendency to try on several articles of clothing before coming to a decision, this is a normal everyday occurance for me. I might be just about to leave the house and in that split second before I grab the door knob...I turn face and head straight back to the closet and change one last time. So even though my clothes that are left behind are clean...they have been exposed to whatever scent I was wearing that day. My ex even used to like to borrow some of my jewelry because he said he could smell my perfume on it. xoxoxo

That's a nice thought for the day, important problem when considering time travel. There seems to be alot of contradictions in it. Whats the whole concept of time travel based upon anyways? Relativity? String theory? I think I should shut up now because I don't know what I'm talking about.. I still need to read A Brief History of Time that's been collecting dust up on my bookshelf for almost a year.

Time travel huh? I wish I could go back in time and be there with all the people I know who have passed. I feel like I let them down by not being there with them...the guilt ways heavy. I'd also like to go back in time and have the courage to kiss that boy in high school I was madly in love with, just once.

and yeah...I think I am that boring, but if you don't, then I shall get rid of it.

And yeah, I agree with you... women are generally more interesting to look at... even my straight friends are always checkin' out other girls. I think there's just a wider variety of accepted clothes and hairstyles.
And girls bodies... mmm... gotta love all the curves. But there are really nice lookin' guys too. Damn, why can't naked Rufus Wainwright be on all the magazine covers?!

damn...we all need to have a round table of dialogue!!! solimond, i have to say i love the way your mind thinks (and this is not a completely biased statement due to the fact that i am a woman who appreciates a fine looking woman ) oh, and by the way, to add to your above continued thought...perhaps it is actually society who has been trained to appreciate the form of a woman over a man because traditionally it has been the woman that has been sexified in our western culture...i mean, hell...if we were living in the romantic era, roman era, etc. it was not the female form that was raised above the male...

such a good question! what the hell is up with that??? why is society ashamed of men's bodies (or, is society ashamed of men's bodies???)...what do i mean by this...ah, shit, i was hoping i wouldn't have to explain myself...well, i mean, it seems like we have such a mixed message...on the one hand, we are all very much aware that we are living in a patriarchal society...blah, blah, blah...and yet...for how long have women ruled all that is considered sexy....and therefore, powerful through sexuality and the subtle use of it...so, since we are all ruled more or less by biology...and our biology necesitates our need of sex...then whoever is in control of the sex has a certain amount of power right? so then, what is up with the weird imbalance of women (although, admittedly this can be challenged in numerous ways...and i think that men are beginning to be equally shown off in a similar way these days) being the bearers of the sex'goddess shrine...and men being the bearers of just about everything else...??? by the way, i'm only referring to media representation...not actual dymamics of the sexes...

perhaps men are more insecure collectively...i mean, why the hell does straight porn just about always have the ugliest guy you have ever seen doing it with this long finger nailed babe??? my vote is that most straight men don't want to feel threatened by some hot stud who can obviously get laid anytime he wants...while the viewer is left with nothing but his 6 pack of pabst, porn vider, and beer gut to keep him company... although, i really don't believe that men are more insecure...perhaps just in a different way??

I think it is about insecurity... and competition. There's this whole messed up idea in this country that women should view other women as competition for the affections of men. So women can look at other women and aspire to look like them, and men can gaze at bodies they'll never touch. I once had a younger guy ask me if he was gay cause he thought this chick was hot, and later found out that it was a guy. No one looks at women funny when they say another woman is beautiful, but it doesn't go the other way... ug.

p.s. thank you for enduring my long pyscho babble...i get way too excited about anything conceptually stimulating...

no kidding...aging is such a bizarre concept...we're passing through the cycles of time, and passing through 'rites of passage's' in many cultures... it's crazy we can all feel so young and soo old all at the same time.
i can see time refining me...sometimes it's more shocking than others, and i have to get closer to the mirror and remind myself how old i am... but i'm feeling really positive about my future prospects for the most part...for we are like fine wine take care you...and thanks for helping to spread the word...
