Edmonton turned out to be TONS of fun. I went to MAC, I heart that place so much. Thanks to Invincible I bought Johny The Homocidal Maniac. It's so awesome, twisted and good! The Fringe was pretty rocking, and I spent a bunch of money on Whyte. Saw my friends which was actually very refreshing to be around people who I care about. I met...

Today work was okay. Tips were not very good. There was this annoying little kid that said that it was his birthday. And I was like that's good. I really felt like telling him that there was dying children in Africa that it was their birthday too, but was I doing anything about it? NO! But I don't think that would have went down very...

I don't think I say it enough. I HATE working Sundays. I HATE the god squad! Other than that, this weekend I ate A LOT of good food. We had family from Toronto visiting, and my mom cooked up a storm. She made this blueberry cheesecake that oh soo delecious. Drank a lot of decent wine too. I started reading Good Omens by Neil Gaiman...

Most of the time we have a full run of sandman (and all the affiliated stuff with it, like death:the high cost of living, and the like) If you tell me which volumes you need, and if you want hard of soft cover, and when youd probably be able to be by to pick them up, I can always squirrel them away so someone else doesnt buy them before you... (We also got a whole bunch of Invader Zim stuff that you can normally only get in the states)

From time to time I can also swing getting a little bit of a discount for people I knowsmile

Yesterday, turned out to be a pretty good day. Work was mellow and easy, I was done early and came home with 50$. Which is not all that much but for the amount that I worked is just fine with me. I even did the crossword with one of the customers. So I was getting paid for slacking, which is always the best! After work...

A day off! I havn't done very much at all toay. Which is OK fine with me. My internet connection got fixed yesterday, which was awesome, and my Ipod stopped being a douche bag, so that's pretty good. I'm really looking to going to Edmonton next weekend. Mostly for the change of pace and to see my lovely friends.
Last night I went to see...

Yeah, it'd be exciting to meet you...since I've supposedly have met you before in choir...but I don't believe I had that opportunity, because I think you moved away quite shortly after the year began.

In other news, I'm glad your Internet got fixed...unlike mine, which is going wonky because those Telus pieces of shit are on strike frown

(well it's not really their fault but...it would be nice to have smooth internet so I can get my work done...ah *sighs*)

awe, E-town has more than cons and carnies (I admit it does have alot of both however), It has really cool bars, tons of neat places to go to and there is so much culture. Edmonton is a microcausm of canada!

Yesterday, even though the weather was super lame, ended being a really good day.
I read about electrolytes in the morning.
Went for a blood test, the lady at the desk had this really fancy phrase for peeing in a cup. I was highly amused I wish I could remember exactly what she said.
I finished Harry Potter. Can't wait for the new one to...

Sounds like a good day...'cept save the "blood test". How can they expect you to pee in a cup in a short period of time? I never get that part of the test completed.

Super Mario 3 is a classssic. Kind of makes me wanna head down the basement to fish up my NES to play it again...hm...
salieri:
Man, last time I peed in a cup I ended up at the Mexican border with Jose Domingo.

Let's not talk about it, ok?

Thanks smile That's very nice of you.

As far as Harry Potter goes...with the way things have been around here, I don't need to read it anymore...I already know what happens frown

So I thought I was going to mix it up a bit in the reading material...but I'm already half way through the new Harry Potter book. I LURVE it sooo much.
It's been raining a lot this summer. It's super lame and I miss the sun. And it's summer and it would be nice to find some decent, acceptable, good looking guy to make out...

Today I had a day off and I didn't accomplish very much at all. I did finish Enchantment by Orson Scott Card. It was entertaining but not great. Yesterday I bought the new Harry Potter book, I havn't started it yet, I have a pile of other stuff to go through, and I have been reading LOTS of fantasy latley I figure I should mix...

I liked Enchantment too, but I really liked his Ender's game and 7th son more. Have you read Magic Street yet? It's very so so.

A friend of mine got me that gift as a present. She was enthralled, but I only enjoyed it, too. tongue
Now I'm reading the Mists of Avalon (I love Arthurian legends!) - fabulous, but am frustrated with the characters and am dragging my feet reading it.
