That's a really cool story. The story behind mine is I really didn't want to get a tattoo at all. Then someone asked me if I got a tattoo what would I get. And instantly I said Rock'n' Roll from shoulder to shoulder. I had never thought of it before. so a few weeks later I just went and got it. And so I like it because the idea was subconcious and there was no planning it out.

Let's just come right out and admit it, okay? The Phantom of the Opera? Not a very good musical. Goddammit, I can't be the only one who thinks that. The plot is cliche (we all know it going in anyway, but they emphasized the more cliche elements of it), the songs are mediocre and eventually grating, and they didn't really change the staging for the movie at all, so hey, great job there. And that "bum Bum BUM BUM BUMMMMMM....BUM BUM BUM Bum bummmmm" of the organ really started to piss me off when I saw it as a play.
Okay, I'm venting and I didn't actually see the movie, but I hate that thing. Well, what I remember of it. Mostly I remember my dad playing the CD a lot and now the songs drive me nuts.

Your tattoo story is cool gal. Weelll i'll try to be brief. My first rock concert i went to was Warp Tour 98. It was fucking awesome experience cuz i hopped backstage and took pictures of bands deftones, the specials, rancid.....i was like a kid meating Santa Clause for the first time(hmmm i know there's some symbolism there somewhere).
I got a hyena design done that day, liked it so much that i got it tattED before it wore out. It has grown overtime through the passing of various experiences. 1)almost dying in Amsterdam (it's a long story) 2)Mom passing away3)something to do with a relationship of mine....you get the idea. To me it's like when you cut a tree and you can see the rings marking how old the tree is....this is when this happened, this is when that happened....neat idea eh? well i borrowed it from the movie the 12 Monkeys so you can't call me a plagariser cuz i cited the source.
Hopefully that was not to much information to handle

Anyways, i was going to say that i was thumbing through your pictures the other day and i saw a couple of weird randomnesses. First i had an astro boy t-shirt almost exactly like that one you have, cept mine was a black tshirt and im not sure if yours is or is not, but my astro was a hologram where you could see his insides...The other oddity is your artwork of the kinda of a sun and your tattoo is very very similiar to the tattoo i have on my shoulder. That tattoo of mine has alot of signifigance to me, marking all the madness i went through in the past 7 years or so. Originally it was a hyena design but got altered and added to along the way. I just thought it was weird at the time and i had one of those like whooa experiences.
