I cracked in the sales today and bought shoes OF THE GODS. For only 12, which means 6 a shoe. I felt I really had to have the pair, wouldn't have been able to walk right with just the one. Green snakeprint with 3 inch heels! YAY. Classy!

And I've agreed to go on holiday with my folks again. Those of you with long memories may recall that my hol with them last year had a few ups and downs. Well, it's a long weekend in Vienna this time, and I've always wanted to go to Vienna (think cakes and coffee and MORE CAKES) and we got a deal on a 5* hotel as well. *hums The Blue Danube to self* No idea what there is to do in Vienna apart from drink coffee and eat cakes and see some art, anyone got any bright ideas?

however it is a really nice city and
although i was pissed for most of the trip i did however find my way to the Museum of Art History (Kunsthistorisches Museum, KHM), which houses the art collection of the Habsburgs. It's a huge and important collection of German, Flemish and Italian art from the 15th to the 18th century. it is worth checking out if you have time
Alas, my only knowledge of Vienna stems from Medieval times, such as it's great seige by the Turks. There must be plenty of museums and galleries there though.
