Just been to see Gene Loves Jezebel! I have waited 17 years to see this band: my mum wouldn't let me go see them when I was 17, and when they supported Billy Idol in Edinburgh I couldn't go, because it was Xmas and I was up north with my folks. And I didn't really expect much, but they were GREAT!
And even better, the band came to the pub afterwards and had a couple of beers with us. Fucking YAY! Michael Aston is an awfully nice bloke. I didn't have a camera to take a pic of me 'n' him, but another guy did, so if he emails it as promised I'll post it.
I think I may have a hangover tomorrow, but it'll be worth it. YAY again. and more YAY.
Now I'm just waiting for my Deutsche rock god to get in touch...that boy needs to phone more often....
