I am back!
and just taking a break from unpacking - would you believe that I need 25kg of luggage for a 5 day break? But a lot of it was books, because I studied my head off while I was up there and more or less got back up to date with my coursework. Essay due in for Friday so I still have to keep my head down.
But had a pretty good time all things considered! Nice to see the folks, we went out to my fave seafood restaurant and ate many yummy things from the sea, I had squid and lobster and oysters YUM. And far too much to drink, so I didn't feel too good on Saturday morning. Then on Saturday night I went out with a couple of school pals who now teach at the local school, we had dinner and then our best attempt at a pub-crawl. Wasn't too late a night in the end.
Granny decided to donate some of her old records to me seeing as how she doesn't actually have a record player anymore, so I had to bring back a suitcase full of Val Doonican and Englebert Humperdink. It will come in handy when my neighbours next assault my ears with fucking Coldplay.
A loud blast of Paddy McGinty's Goat awaits them!
I think the pusscats missed me as they are crawling all over me purring and drooling.
