Had an incredibly shit day today. A friend of the family died after being ill a long time, Mum sent me an email at work to let me know and I burst into tears in front of the whole department...had to be led gently away, mascara dripping, to be forcefed cigarettes and coffee until I could face going back in again. 
not good.
My boss was really nice and said I could go home, but I thought we're short staffed and I'd better stick around, plus mooching around the house wouldn't make things better. However tonight was NIGHT AT WORK FROM HELL on a double bill with IDIOT CUSTOMERS ON THE PHONE IN DROVES! now there was me thinking there would be a quiet night coz there was footy on the telly, but no such joy.
So I'm fed up, sorry to be depressing, will have my zippidy-doo-dah back soon. But I have to endure a weekend in the bosom of my family first.....oh well, clench teeth!

He never even met his great grand daughter.
It sucks when people die - full stop, but it hurts even more when it's someone you know/love
But then we have the happy memories of them and the love and warmth they brought... or in the case of my nan, the evil, child-beating hatred and stubborn single-mindedness... hell i'm glad she's dead!
Look, chill, have fun relaxing this weekend and try not to smoke too much!
