A rather more quiet weekend than usual

I got the post-holiday blues....

so not a very exciting weekend. There was an SG Scotland meet planned for Fri nite, but I didn't go as I was so bloody knackered after working till late. Turned out no-one else showed either...except the organiser...oh dear. Feel bad about that...but I was SHATTERED.

Went to my Latin class on Saturday morning, then went up the town and did a bit of shopping, my sister has had a baby recently so wanted to get some goodies to take up to her next weekend!

And the rest of the weekend...SWOTTING. I've drawn up my study schedule and it's the joy of Greek and Latin and no going to the pub for the next 4 weeks or so. Have finished studying for the evening and Gladiator is on the TV - does that count as swotting, since it's ancient Romans and stuff? Also enjoying a nice glass of Bavarian firewater schnapps - fuck it is strong stuff! I hasten to add that the glass is suitably small.

Deutsche loverman is still very much in my thoughts...no idea if I am in his, but I'm making up a CD for him and will send that over next week....sigh....why are all the nice ones either gay, married or not in this country?
