Pre-Menstrual Cooking
Yup it's PMT week and everything has been annoying the living TITS off me today. Except you, dear readers. Was in the office from 8.45, interviewing all bloody day, left at 6.30 for my Latin class and after the most annoying tiresome bus journey ever got to the college...to find the bloody day had been changed.
Grr!
So instead I forced myself to go to Moscow-mid, our crap local supermarket, and as it's so rainy and cold and horrible I had immense urges for the comforting foods of Central Europe. Like a great big fuck off pot of soup and goulash with czech dumplings.
Yum!
So I've been in touch with my inner hausfrau tonight and there is more food on the stove that an army could eat, and I don't have to lift a finger all weekend except to convey it to my mouth!
Thursday is also my housework night, which is when I hoover up all the cat hairs, clean the bathroom and chuck out all the old copies of Take a Break that have accumulated in my sitting room, because I can't resist a really trashy problem page.
Now I'm going to have a long soak and paint my toenails in the forlorn hope that this weekend I meet Prince Charming. Preferable before the Tide Of Venus arrives.
