Puppy Fun!

Dita is my incredibly adorable, ridiculously fuzzy Volpino Italiano princess.

I had no intentions of getting a dog whatsoever, but one evening I stumbled across an ad for these puppies online and fell instantly in love! The ad was by a breeder an hour outside of the city. They had brought their Volpinos (Spitz family) to Canada from Italy and these puppies were the first litter. Both mother and father are purebred, the father, Canada's first Champion Volpino.

Dita has been so much fun. I've never had a puppy before and there is so much involved. It's like having a baby that poops on the lawn. She has been adapting to her new home and commands very well. She has completely stolen my heart. Even when she is awake to go outside hours before I would like her to be I wouldn't trade her for anything Although she is yet to chew apart a sexy shoe, we'll see which it is I love more when that day comes.
