Well its 12:45AM here on the east cost and I just got home from work...
I got screamed at today by my boss for being a "Lazy slacker" and I was told that unless I changed my ways that I would be fired
Oh well, guess that means its time to start looking for a new job.
I dont know what it is about going up to random people and trying to get them to spend 50 bucks on some video game summer pass but its just not my thing.
The stupidity of blockbuster shoppers never ceases to amaze me. Im standing there in Full Blockbuster uniform with a damn nametag around my neck and I still get the question "Excuse me do you work here?"
Or how about the time some dude in a suit with his wife came up to me at the register and were a buck short. Not only did they have the nerve to ask if I could just "lend it to them", but when I said I had no money on me, as they left they shouted out to me "What goes around, comes around"... WTF?
Damn I hate that place...

only if you could kick the ocassional asshole in the face it would be a great job.... or not.
because you have to tell every single one the same goddamn thing you told the LAST 50 people to come through your line.. they argue with you over everything from prices to placement even though it isnt in your control.. and theyre just generally morons.
i work at Wendy's now and it's a breath of fresh air from working in retail. customers don't have too much they can ask / complain about, plus theyre hungry so theyre not going to be bothered complaining at all.
