So I've recovered from camping and have returned to the house of cats.
I've finished The Almost Moon by Alice Sebold for all of you who I discussed it with at ECCT. I thought it was really good. Her writing style has definitely matured and I really liked the format. It was interesting seeing how growing up with her mother affected her later relationships.
It is interesting that when you give people access to your music collection they play songs that are the most awkward for you to hear at that particular moment.
I submitted my application to Drexel University the other night. My resume and essay still need to be submitted, but they are nearly finished. Masters in Library Science, here I come... I hope.

gta will always be awesome.. i am too into the series for it to not be totally up my alley. i wish there were more things to do. i still have things left to do for 100%, but not things i really want to do. i mostly just get on and beat up citizens who annoy me, drive like a total fucking maniac, and fuck with the police... just fucking off not doing missions or anything and not saving.
the game i'm looking forward to this fall is far cry 2. don't even get me started on how awesome that shit will be. far cry has always been my series that i take kinda seriously.. gaming with the same people on a pretty intense level.
the thing about far cry is that you can make your own maps.. completely customized. there are some really unique styles of play that come out of that. i know a lot of people who have made some really insane maps.. and it gets craaazy.
