I was recently made aware that Madeleine L'Engle died. I love children's books and she was fantastic.

The semester has officially started. I am back to work and I got a raise
Usually around now I stop being active on SG, do my homework and drink copious amounts like any other good Penn State student. I am hoping to end this trend. Yes going out and being social can be a good thing, but not for my wallet and my health. So anyway that is why it is Friday and instead of being at the bars I am at home putting together my lamp. ... very very slowly and doing homework. The cats are playing in the lamp's box

I saw Dar Williams in concert the other day. She was fantastic. Funny, charming, FANTASTIC. I made a friend too, a happy little freshman lesbian. We talked about her girlfriend and gay life at Penn State. She wanted to hear about Penn State from the wise old senior. I felt old and wise at least haha...
