it's been an emotionally turbulent year and i think i'm just existentially exhausted from all of it. Too many highs and too many lows. i worked my ass off this year, the hardest ever, and i wanted to ride it out 'til after the elections. now i'm there. and i have heartbreak. big, soul-crushing heartbreak. ENOUGH.
I need to get away for a while. Anyone have any good vacation recommendations? i need something that's totally stimulating and engaging and...just different. I think i might go to Alaska to see a totally rad friend for a few days. Then i'm thinking Berlin or Paris for New Year's. Or Estonia. They all sound good. I need somewhere where I don't speak the language but have good peeps in. We'll see.
I just know that I have to fix this broken heart of mine. Listening to TV On The Radio constantly doesn't help. But we have a BLACK PRESIDENT so maybe it'll all be good.

MPLS has shitty shitty weather, but the people are awesome. I've never fit in so well anywhere, but MPLS is the sort of place where you can be yourself without any contrived attitudes/mannerisms.
let's go to bermuda and work menial jobs and enjoy the pink sand and perpetual sun. I'm all set to have an island life... really.
