So Walgreens has pissed me off royally today! My 6 year old son had to get 2 teeth extracted because the adult ones were coming in behind the baby teeth. So we go straight over to the pharmacy which was about 2 minutes from the dentist. Somehow, by the time we got to Walgreens, my son's gums were already hurting pretty badly. He was crying and rocking and tapping his foot hard on the chair while I was in line to get his prescription filled for tylenol with codeine. A very nice guy who also had kids let me cut him in line to get up there faster, which I am eternally grateful for. I get up to the counter and hand the HEAD pharmacist the prescription and ask if we can rush it because my son is in very serious pain from having teeth pulled as I point to the chair where he is squirming and crying with pain. I am almost in tears as well (as any of you parents know it hurts SO bad to see your kid hurting and you can't do a damn thing about it because of stupid fucking people!) and the pharmacist says "It will be 20 minutes" without batting an eye or showing any emotion. I was like "really? you can't get it faster?" and she was like "nope. we'll call you when it's ready." So I go back and sit with him and I'm about crying because he's in so much pain. I had to get a bottle of cold water and squirt it into his mouth and hold it against his mouth to help. I would have gotten a bottle of Tylenol and given him that, but it would have meant he couldn't take the prescription meds. So 20 minutes come and go and I march up there and they haven't even fucking FILLED the prescription yet! All this and we were the ONLY people waiting IN the Walgreens for our prescription and by this time, of course, there was no line. The stupid head pharmacist came out about 30 minutes, saw me give her the evil eye, and said "what was your last name?" so I gave it and she asked about it and then told me it would be ready in a few minutes. So...FINALLY fourty-fucking-five minutes later his pain medicine was ready. Luckily in the meantime we had done some deep meditative breathing and I am a healer so I sat with him and sent healing energy to him and he ended up calming down and falling asleep. But still...why the fuck couldn't they have been kind and compassionate especially for a CHILD and just filled his meds up right away? I will be calling Walgreens tomorrow and talking with the manager, because that is completely UNACCEPTABLE. It really pissed me off and I really wanted to punch somebody.

Moonmadness, (sorry for the delay in the reply!) as I have gotten older I have been told by a lot of people that I am a natural healter. I have always been drawn to the use of herbs and natural medicine. I am pretty sure I have been a healer/shaman in past lives. I use energy healing, and it's just something that I've had to learn to focus on to do, I didn't go to school or anything to learn it. I have been able to self-heal my migraines within a matter of minutes when they can go for hours which is a great relief! This was the first time I tried really on someone else. What I do is take a moment to get calm and then tap into their vibration (with their permission of course) and then I match my vibration to theirs and then when we're aligned, I send out waves/balls of healing energy/light to the area(s). I didn't even know it was working that well until my son started nodding off! I asked him about it later and he said all of the sudden it stopped hurting and he felt sleepy. =) I plan on taking Reiki classes just to add to my abilities. Thanks for asking! I plan on going "public" soon with this and using it to help others.
