There's a great big hole in my life. I'm out of new books to read, which is unfortunate because I'm also out of money to buy new books. I hope I'm not the only one who feels this way, but I definately feel like I'm missing something if I don't have a fresh book sitting around waiting for me to read. Sure, I have a whole bookshelf full of old favorites but I need something fresh, new and exciting. Reading old books just isn't good enough. Nothing passes a couple of hours better than a book (except maybe sex, which is also in short supply) and I'm going out of my mind with boredom now that there's nothing new for me to read. No offense to anyone who reads this, but there's only so long I can stay on SG before my brain starts to atrophy. What do I do then? Rot my mind in front of TV that's what I do, and I hate myself for it the whole time. Fear not though, for I have come up with a solution. The "Waking Brain Fund" is a special fund that I'm setting up to pay for my new books, new video games, and maybe even some hookers. To find out where to mail your contribution e-mail me at SoEffinHappy@aol.com. Remember, for less than a dollar a day you can provide a poor, lazy, white guy with endless hours of entertainment. Do the right thing. Send money now.

I just started reading Chuck's new one, Lullaby. Its pretty good so far.

Ha! An alien? Was something popping out of her chest? That would be kinda cool. So more like a stick figure?
