Me: So I'm thinking of coming down to see you and your boy sometime soon.
Her: Well, when do you think you can do it?
Me: Whenever is good for you. I figured that if you can get Sat. and Sun. off at some point I could come down for the weekend.
Her: I'll never be able to get the whole weekend off.
Me: Well, how about you work Saturday morning and I head down during the day?
Her: That sounds good. It will have to be sometime in March after all this shit is done with work. I open this Saturday and I'm off Sunday which is going to be probably the last time until March.
Me: Well, why don't I come down this weekend?
Her: *pause* Yeah that could work. Let me ask Dustin and see what he thinks.
So yeah, I'm going down to Winston-Salem this weekend which is like a 5 hour drive just so I can chill with a couple of friends for not even a full weekend. Oh the freedom a decent car brings.
