yeah, it's funny, we both love to cook, so there's pretty much always something going on in the kitchen, and a lot of leftovers that forget to be eaten.

well I'm really interested in naval architecture in general - all of it

but there is a dearth of information and therefore a need for scholarship in the earliest ships - and I think that is my academic interest. specifically around the Mediterranean in the 4th & 5th B.C.E., or the classical age of Greece. I am also interested academically in the seagoing traditions of the Roman Empire.
