I'm surprised how different my groups list is from that of my previous incarnation.
Not that I contribute much to any of them robot

Hey, I appreciate your comment. You didn't offend me, not really. Things just get so out of hand so fast in the dscussion forum, particularly around topics like the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. I'm just as guilty as anybody else, and I hope I didn't see, to rude or self-righteous, and I apologize if I misinterpreted the "Jewish homeland" thing.

Anyway, Yo La Tengo. They were awesome. We saw them at this ballroom in Portland. My girlfriend's in a wheelchair and throught the opening act we were getting really bummed because she couldn't see anything, but after Yo La Tengo went on their stage manager invited us back stage! Well, more like side stage since it was a ballroom, but we were sitting right there next to their wives, etc. It was increadible. They're much louder in person than you'd expect.

Anyway, thanks for the comment. Courtesy is far to rare.

Yeah, that's why I mentioned the loud. You wouldn't think it from their albums. Maybe it had something to do with the fact that we were sitting right next to the speakers. wink As for my lady-friend, unfortunately it's probably not a temporary thing (unless we get our asses in gear and put some serious time and money into stem-cell research.) We were in a car accident a year ago come December and she suffered a spinal chord injury. It seems worse than it is until you live through it. People adapt, you know? Life hands you a certain set of conditions and you learn how to deal with them if you can't change them because there's nothing else to do.
