So I get this bill in the mail from AT&T the other day. I don't even use AT&T. So I call them up to get the charges taken off and the guy starts throwing me this hard core sales pitch. He's telling me that if I don't want this to happen again that I should switch to their service. Is this how companies try and get new customers now? What the fuck?

We had to get super angry at those AT&T bitches to get them to stop calling us. Same with MCI. It helps to ask what the persons name is that you're talking too. That actually gives them some incentive to follow through on whatever it is they're promising to do for you. I never actually write down their name or bother to remember it but they don't know that.
