I seriously need to get out of the habit of procrastinating. I can't keep putting off homework and studying until the last minute anymore. These classes are seriously going to kill me if I don't get ahead of the game.
I guess I'm kinda seeing someone as of late. Yeah, part of why I'm distracted. Can't really blame her tho. It's more my fault than anything. She's super sweet and actually has a brain! It's difficult finding people worth dating. I mean, I suppose I shouldn't get too far ahead of myself, but I've seriously been waiting for someone intelligent with similar interests for a long time. The last few twats I've dealt with were fucking irritating.
I seriously need to get this laptop fixed. For some reason it lags out like crazy when I'm trying to play games. One minute, stuff will be running just fine. The next, it decides to get all choppy and fuck up whatever I'm trying to do. Seriously, I just want to finish Portal 2 and play some fucking Civilization V.

It's a cello. Basses are far larger. I'd like to learn, but I don't have the money to invest in one atm.
I was playing cello with a band for a benefit concert. It was fun!
I hate college. Honestly. I'm quite capable of learning on my own. I really hate classes that do grades for attendance. I like the social component, I suppose, but I'm still pretty picky with who I surround myself with.
I earnestly wish that companies would hire more based on merit than stupid pieces of paper. Maybe someday the institution will destroy itself. For that, the population will have to become educated enough to realize that the corporate/government machine is just using them to make a huge profit for a small number of greedy assholes at the top.
