Sickly numb,
staring vacantly at the wall,
stop watching me,
you'll never see the projection of horror i'm seeing
only what appears to be my arid expression.
The loss of words and life and reason
the wave after wave of conflict
the hatred, the anger
i fell back today
almost pulled into my past
as if i took the hand and they showed me the hollowness that was left.
They didn't know,
the lives that were saved there
just a job, another project, another place to manipulate
No idea, or a willingness to care of the people who passed through this place
and it's all we have left to cling to
the thoughts and memories
everything fades
places
people
names
colors
thoughts
then why do i still feel sick
