just thinking about it and i have never really don a post on my campervan, so hear we go.
i got interested in them throught a friend how was only just getting to them at the same time. after going to a couple of shows, i decided to start looking around to buy one. The couple i sore were in good condition but had a big price tag, untill i found one in the local paper. my old man went down to have a look at it and put down a 100 hold on it so i could see it the next day. when i sort it i knew that this was the one.
So paid the money and got it home.
There started a labour of love for six months. i riped out all the insides and started to rub down all the body work. The rust was all treaded or cut out. I rebulit the engine back to the big ends and fitted a temperature senser and electronic ingnition. The windows were all taken out and the van was spraid red and white.
Allt the inside were put back in with 4 x 6' by 9', 2 x 13', 10' sub, kenwood 4 channel 640watt amp and sony head unit.
I have now got it lowered by 3' and i have just fitted a DVD player and monitor and playstation. the engine has also be uprated with 2 34ict webber carbs. And now looks like the pic above.
But this is were i wont to go with it (below)
Lowered a bit more, with a side step, brm wheels and a change of colour.
