I'm not that good of an writer, but I figured telling stuff about me and my life helps give a good repression.
not much up on board. stoped my diary. not my kind of thing anyway.
latest charter, discharged in the Netherlands, after that off to Rostock Germany to load a crain.
for those who are interested, the total weight of the crane is arround 600 tonnes :P
After Rostock, we went to Immingham England to load a generator and some other big boxes.
The generator alone (the one in the photo down here) weight about 100 tonnes
And last loading port was Emden, again in Germany. There we loaded 7 containers off which 6 with an total quantity of over 100 tonnes of explosives :')
Now (since about 5 days) we've been on our way to Oran Algeria, to discharge the explosives.
after that Marina de Carrera in Italy. especially exited about that port, as I'm from Italian decent and I have never been to Italy D: so this is very exiting. even though I have no guarantee that I can get ashore.If I can get ashore, I'll definitely get myself an Italian made pizza :D.
Last but not least we will head for Turkey . Don't know the name of that port tough. don't know what we will be discharging either xD either the crain or the generator.
So what have I been doing on board?
well, mostly learning xD just understudying under the chief officer. and starting under chief engineer soon. helping on the watch, radio reports, chart and book updates, testing equipment. And in the engine room things like maintenance of... well a lot off things xD
And for some photo's I made when we had some company alongside the ship :P (this was in September in the black sea. (read other blog, day..something near Trabzon Turkey))
