I'm home alone all week and decided to fire up the smoker and make some smoked pulled pork, and some brisket. After 8 hours on the smoker I put some peppers and some sweet corn on. It smells so good.

So i had a productive day today. I pulled out the old Harley and did some maintance and then gave it a much needed wash. Then I took it out and put some miles on it. It felt good to get out and hear the purr of the engine and get some wind in the face.
I spent my days off getting my garden ready to go for this spring
All my flowers are in full bloom here
Well today was a fun day, I took my mother, sister, niece, nephew, and his wife to the Gas Monkey Bar and Grill in Dallas, Tx. I wanted to play tourist for a little bit and wanted to see this place, eat here and get a few little trinkets. The place was awesome, they had the local fire departments bands playing there. The food was awesome. I had a burger that had a fried quail egg on it. My only complaint was they wanted way way to much for s simple T-shirt. but all in all I had a great day with the family.
