This is my 3rd ish attempt at locs. I tried twice in college but gave up. I told myself prior to the last 4 years that I was going to just do bald....but then I couldn't resist my love for locs .....

I've always wanted them since I was a kid....my first exposure to them was through a rap game called The Lost Boyz.....I remember seeing their videos on BET and thinking like "wow, I love the hair"....And then I was exposed to Lenny Kravitz with the long flowing "locs" and that was it for me lol...I had to have them...I was young so I didnt get into history side of it and why people wore them until I get older and more knowledgable.....I absolutely hate how people view them and how people act like if your locs are not perfect looking like Lil Wayne, they are "disgusting" or people look at you strange....Occasionally, I'll get a "I love your hair" but usually, I get people trying to give me hair tips and pointers but not in a respectful manner. Ive had people put their hands all in my hair or pull it or be bossy about the tips....Leave my hair alone!!! lol
