I did finally talk to Jen and it went very, very well. thanks for the encouragement. as to that compliment, I could be wrong, but it sounds warranted to me, It is obvious how much you care, and that you try, Trust me, after working in both the family law system and in juvenile courts I know that many, many parents dont even make an effort or appear to care at all, even when they are in the home or so close that almost no effort is needed. Just caring and making the effort puts you ahead of much of the pack.

So I just walked home in what I think is perfect T-shirt weather. It's 6 C or 42ish F. It turns out I'm quite nuts when it comes to weather. Everybody around here is wearing coats, sweaters, or hoodies. I think it's about time summer was over. Bring on more snow, and don't stop until it's up to my elbows.
