Baseball has ended in Montreal, starting place of Jackie Robinson's career. MLB is poorer for it.

The gifties for Paul finally showed up, about five days late for some reason. I was a little panicked because the package was mostly gift cards that any idiot can use, plus a money order so that I can finally get some school pictures of my monsters.
Without further ado, here is what the nine year old said:
"I got some movies. I got Dude Where's My Car, Clash of the Titans, Space Jam, Beetlejuice and Goonies. I also got a game called Etherlords 2. I got two books of the series that I'm reading about a princess and a dragon queen. That's basically it. Thank you."
I'm not really sure how it happened, but my ex and I apparently created a movie junkie. Just because he named his baby sister after a Star Wars character (Leia) doesn't mean it was inevitable. He's a movie junkie with a 9-year-old's tastes, but what else can you expect? Laure was a little puzzled by his choice of Space Jam, but really any movie with Bugs Bunny is good, so I can't fault him for that. "Dude Where's my Car?" is a completely different story.
Now that I know the picture money arrived, and that October 7 is picture day, I can't wait for the mail to come.

Sorry to hear about the end of baseball there. I haven't followed any sports for a while now, so that kind of took me by surprise.
