Ok, so that last quiz was probably a little bit too selfish, so I'm updating to get rid of it
Thanks to Terry26 who took the patience to answer the whole thing, you made me
with some of your answers, sweet man
If you're fed up of reading about my finances, I suggest you stop reading now, but at least this is slightly better news than previous posts
Well, I will have a little, tiny, itty bitty bit of leeway with scraping the finances together for this months payment. Huzzah! I found a policy that although not due to mature fully for another 4 years, can be cashed in now without any penalties AND it currently stands at double the value I thought it was at. So the nice lady is sending me an encashment form to sign and return and then they'll get the cheque in the post to me. I'm hoping against hope that this will all be done and dusted before I need to send the first payment into the bank so that I can then just concentrate on next months' payment now and that will give me more time in which to do so. The cheque I get will also go to nearly clearing one bank overdraft aswell, so HUZZAH again
I needed this today as I found out the bank stopped one of my direct debit payments going through for one of my loans
so I've had to send an email pleading them to let it go through even though it will exceed my overdraft limit, as I have told them this cheque is on its way this month to bring the account almost back into credit again. Keep your fingers crossed they'll let it go through otherwise I fear the loan company will be a tad cross at the payment being refused
Then I just need to get a job, yeah I know I keep saying this, but what can I do if the agencies simply don't have any positions
Is all I'm good for delivering papers and leaflets for 20 a week? I don't think so
In other news, he's getting a pay-rise this year of another 4000, and then another one of 2000 next year - BIG HUZZAH, this will mean that the other bank overdraft will start to come down too

Unfortunately, his company can't tell him yet when this pay-rise will come into effect
BUT at least they appreciate his work even though he's only been there 5 months and at least we'll see some light at the end of the tunnel, providing all else goes to plan. I'm going to arrange an appointment with the mortgage advisor and see if they have any deals going at the moment for existing customers whereby we can reduce the monthly payments aswell, so please please please keep everything crossed that finally I can begin to get back on track with at least some of the financial problems
Who knows, maybe towards the latter part of this year I might be able to take a weekend trip to London again without being so worried about where the money is coming from. But for now, all I have to concentrate on is selling all the stock I have in the house and bringing in as much money as possible.
All donations still gratefully appreciated as although I could do with starving and losing some weight, I don't think my kids should have to aswell

It's a sunny day and I feel slightly happier today so big
to you all for being such fabulous friends.
I will update with something silly later as now I must get back to stock sorting-out!
Edited to say: I remember what else I was going to say. Valentine's Day coming up folks, yet another year when no doubt I'll get NO cards again, but I've found a wonderful site for those of us who get fed up with it all Anti Valentines Day
