Grrr....I just wasted like $10 in groceries on thinking that I could actually cook something new and different. 
I'm just mad because I could have spent that money on something that I could have actually cooked well. This is why I don't try new things. And this is why I get stuck in a rut with the meals that I do cook. Just grrr....
Other than that, it has been a fairly decent off day. I caught up on my heaping piles of laundry. I kept putting it off and was finally down to almost nothing to wear.
I've also been having an 80's movie day. It's been wonderful. I started off with "About Last Night" and just finished up "When Harry Met Sally and ""Sixteen Candles." Next, will come "Pretty in Pink" and if I get time, "Officer and a Gentleman" "Top Gun" and "The Princess Bride."
That doesn't even put a dent in all of them that I wanted to watch. Perhaps I'll have to continue it on Thursday, seeing as I doubt I'll finish all of those since tonight is also the American Idol finale. I so hope Blake wins but since I want him to, he probably won't.
