Say goodbye to Benni whom I never met, but will not forget
Say goodbye to Kurt Vonnegut, whom I always loved his writings.
On a happier note, I find out about the job in the next couple days. It's dependent on my drug test, which makes my hands sweat a little bit. yeah, i went in on Tuesday and they swabbed my mouth. i was trapped in the HR office by then and couldn't just turn and run. i don't think my current boss will be too happy when he gets the call though.
called in sick for work yesterday b/c i had a wicked hangover. D and I went out to Aqua for some scallop soup, fantastic unbreaded crab cakes, and stellar Lobster tail. scrumptous! we hit up Don's before and Barracuda's afterward for some drinkies. that led to some stumbling and i passed out on the couch. i woke up with a pillow and blanket and my pjs nearby.
Chinese is good hangover food. We had Min Min deliver and i have to say their crab rangoon, egg rolls, and hot and sour soup remind me of the greatest Chinese restaurant in madison.
Dereck starts full time next week at the hospital.
we're talking about going to DC in a couple months here. i still have my heart set on Costa Rica too.
