okay so there may be some time for me to update all of you SG members as to what I've been up to since I've gone grey.
Dereck and I planned him moving here over a hundred days ago and he got here last Saturday. with his cat Punk and all of his belongings. i no longer live by myself. we're adjusting, the cats are adjusting. but the show seems to be running smoothly. Who's Dereck, huh? well, about 8 years ago while we were in h.s. we dated. everything was peachy till i was off at college about 2 hours away and it just got to be such a strain on our relationship. we broke up. having mutual friends, we've kept up on each other's lives. my friend's wedding reception was in October (when my profile pic was taken--yeah, i need to update that thing) and D came with 2 other friends from Wisconsin to stay. well, it was quite the weekend for both of us. it was obvious to us that we should try out this thing again. i believe in fate, i guess.
we're doing really well now. no fights, nothing. we're like best friends. hehehe. with benefits. I work a lot these days, managing the restaurant some of the days.
i really wanna go to Costa Rica this summer or something. i need a vacation. guess we're going to D's cabin a few times this summer too, in Michigan. i need to get my stuff from an old friend and handle that situation with her.
my birthday was kickass! we went to see Sparklehorse and i got a poster that one of the band memebers signed. i was tanked that night...yeah, i should learn to eat before drinking.
my mom bought me boobies for my birthday..heheh. i'm sure she'd really like to hear that one.
hopefully they let me in the SGCO group, that'd be some fun again. i missed a lot of you guys. shit! it's been a while. i'm hoping to be able to come out to more events now with the boy (he's got wheels). i missed out on the roller derby thing a bit back (like i can keep the days straight)
