I just don't like the heat. I suppose a day like this is bad enough but when you have to go to the shops with your dad and help him back with a stereo and a bar stool of heavy proportions then it's just going to add a little more sweat on the old back. However, the trip to the shops did lead to a golden eagle being perched on my dad's arm!

Things didn't quite work out with our trialist in the studio last week so the band are gonna press on and continue the search for a vocalist elsewhere. To be fair though, she also didn't think her voice would suit the music so we weren't the big bad. It was just the realisation from both parties that it didn't work. She has since asked me to go the cinema with her. Hmm. I don't think my lady would approve of this so I need to find a way out of it. Although, I'm sure it's perfectly innocent on her part. But still, it'd kinda look fishy. Or am I being silly? I'd never met this lass before Monday!
That's about it for now. Things have been quiet. Just the way I like it.

That's a tricky situation with the cinema date. Since you've only known her since Monday though, I'm inclined to think that the invite isn't strictly innocent...
