Another dull update for anyone who happens upon my page. Nowt much going on in Sneakyville again altho Buck 65 at Barfly last weekend was a fine gig. Started off with a dance outfit called Holy Fuck who got the whole place a moving and a grooving! Lots of twiddling of knobs, heaving bass and top class drumming won me over! I'd been looking forward to Tahiti 80 who were up next as I own one of their albums and find it a good listen, but they were awfully disappointing. Just really dull and no life about them at all. However, Buck stole the show with another inspired performance. He was up against it as he had played the ABC in Glasgow a mere 14 days before and had to do an almost entirely different set as most of us had seen him there as well.

Got a temp promotion in my job which raises my salary by 4 grand. Unfortunately it's only for a month or two but the extra cash will come in handy. I'd say the experience as well but ummm.... I don't take work that seriously. It's there. I HAVE to do it so I do it.

I'm finding weekends FAR too short these days. Not that I do anything during them. More that I just want more of it.

For now I'm off to watch Doctor Who and maybe some American Gothic later.
