I've had a lifelong phobia of travelling. A strange thing I hear you cry but basically I've never made it out of the UK. Furthest Ive managed to drag myself is down to London on a train. This was last year after a hypnotherapy session.

Is this normal? Who knows.

Anyway, I'm seriously giving thought this year to forcing myself onto a plane for the first time in my life. I'm not feeling quite as scared as I once did and as much as half of me is saying 'go for it' the other half is yelling 'no, don't do it.'

This is an improvement as for many, many years, 100% of me yelled to me 'no, stay where you are!!!'

Anyway, if anyone comes across this wee journal entry I'd appreciate if you could leave me a comment telling me that it ain't so bad and that it's just like riding a train or a bus.

I need to be told things to the positive so one day this year I can just go for it and move on to an exciting new chapter in my life - the one where I get to see the world outside of the UK.

I've heard it's nice....
